Some more signs of dyslexia:

  • A child who says they “feel dumb.”

  • Difficulty with sounding out words.

  • Frequent spelling errors.

  • Irregular letter formation.

  • Strong listening and comprehension skills, but poor reading ability.

  • Motor challenges - for example, difficulty tying shoes or performing tasks that require coordination.

  • Sensitivity to light, noise, or visual clutter.

  • Difficulty remembering the steps in a process.

  • Trouble estimating how long a task will take and being frequently behind.
